So, on June 26th {2008}, Miss Lexi announced that she officially had her first "wobbly" tooth! Barely 5 years old for just over a month and already a loose tooth? Holy cow that was quick! So for the past couple of weeks Lexi has been keeping a close eye on her tooth {in the mirror, daily} and trying to stick to softer foods! Today Mimi came over to play and we were sitting at the table eating turkey sandwiches and Lexi asked "what is this red stuff on my swamich??" Realizing that it was blood, I said, "spit it out!!!" So she spit out her half chewed up bite of turkey swamich and I noticed her tooth was still there! BUMMER!! So close :o). Daddy got home about an hour later and we went outside to greet him. She was showing him how her tooth is now EXTRA loose and it just falls out right in her hand! She has officially lost her very first tooth now! Had to be today huh? Couldn't it have just waited until Sunday? {We are meeting a photograph at the park on Saturday for some family photos!!} Oh well, her toothless smile will be just as cute! Her are a couple of photos of her new little gap that I snapped while she was calling everyone she knows to tell them her loose tooth is out :o)...............

Congrats Lexi! So exciting but sad at the same time, she's growing up too fast :(
